Space and Flight Pictures

The year that Room 6 first ran an in-class restaurant was the year that Space and Flight was the year long theme. The picture below shows some of the spacecraft that were created by the children during the year.
Another Room 6 tradition was to go on a year-end campout. The year that Space and Flight was the yearlong theme one parent flew his private plane to the closest airport and gave children and parents rides over the campground.
At the campout one parent created a "hot air balloon" out of black trash bags. Everyone was impressed that such a simple idea could show the power of hot air.
